Maui Revisited

Yes, it's time once again for Hawaii photos. Surf, sun, palm trees - what more do I need?

These photos are taken along Maui's famous Road to Hana. It's a great drive, with lots of wonderful scenery, places to stop to see the ocean's majesty, and more.

And I have something exciting to share -- I'm going back to Hawaii in two weeks! Several family members and I will be going to the Big Island (the one where the active volcano is) for 9 days.

No worries, I'll be taking lots o' photos so I'll have new pretty stuff to share soon.

Beautiful pictures!!!!!!! My dream for years has been to visit The Hawaiian Islands and especially Maui.....so far it hasn't happened. My daughter lived in Honolulu for a year....it was probably close to 20 years ago.....but due to circumstances in my life at the time, I didn't get to visit her while she was there.

Thanks and hugs,

Judi

Thanks for the sunshine! It is so dreary here today that mom needed the sun and surf! You are very lucky to be going back!

Those are beautiful photos. We went on a cruise to Hawaii last October and Hilo was my favourite stop, probably because we had such a good guide. When we got off the ship we asked one of the minibus drivers about a tour and he got about 12-14 of us together and took us to see all the highlights. We were out for about two hours longer than the ship's tour and paid about half the price. He knew everything and nothing was too much trouble. We rarely take the ship's tours and usually do our own thing. I would love to go back there for a holiday to see more of the island.

Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I have added the RSS feed to Milo and Alfie's blog so we can visit more regularly (since I've taken my blog offline as I couldn't maintain it, AND the cats! And they said there's was more important! LOL!)
